Welcome to David Andrew

We are an independent property agency that specialise in the selling, renting and property managment of flats and houses in North London. Our core areas are, Arsenal, Highbury, Finsbury Park, Stroud Green, Holloway, Archway, Tufnell Park and Crouch End.  We have three offices situated  in Archway, Highbury and Stroud Green.

David Andrew offers a wide range of services including sales, lettings, property management, new homes, and development consultancy.

Our Predictions for the first Quarter of 2012

Despite all the negative press reports during 2011 relating to the Euro Crisis, double dip recession and rising unemployment the property market in “our area” performed remarkably well. We achieved higher prices last year than before the credit crunch in 2007 / 2008, the highest gains being achieved by period family homes near good schools and converted flats with outside access in residential streets.

Few property owners want to sell in “our area” because it is one of the rare locations in London that is currently retaining, and in some instances increasing in value. In a world where inflation is on the increase and the stock market yields are volatile property is a safe investment for the medium and long term.  Stock levels are low which is increasing the values of properties and until interest rates increase we expect property prices to remain strong in the first quarter of 2012.

Astoundingly rental prices have increased by between 10% and 12% in 2011. We do not expect the same increases this year, but due to a shortage of properties to let, rent levels will remain high with little choice for tenants and short void periods for landlords
